Taylor Swift became a popular singer and songwriter in early 2001 with her tales of love and loss. Swift was a fan of music at an early stage of her life. She swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater and eventually performing before an audience of thousands. When Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of an Philadelphia 76ers match at the age of 11, she was already composing songs. In the following year, she started playing the guitar. Drawing inspiration from popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of tween alienation. Swift was just 13 when her parents decided to dispose of their Pennsylvania farm and relocate into Hendersonville Tennessee. She could spend all of her time to reaching out to label labels from the country scene in Nashville.
